We got the chance to cover Kingston’s amazing first birthday party at All Welcome Park in Atlanta. It was a hot summer day, but as family trickled in, it was apparent the celebration was on!
Birthday Setup
The birthday was set up with decorations and custom-made snacks. It was incredible to realize after processing the photos that the snacks were custom-made just for the birthday boy. Whether you wanted Welch fruit snacks, Skittles, Capri Sun, lollipops, or water, you likely knew whose birthday it was if you paid close attention to your item. There was also a birthday backdrop to take photos featuring the star of the day. In addition to the grilling station, there was a blow-up Little Tikes playground for the kids to enjoy and have fun in. Finally, different family members had t-shirts that described who they were in relation to Kingston. For example, Auntie of the birthday boy!
Event Details
Guests came to the park with gifts and joy for the one-year celebration of Kingston. After most guests arrived, the backdrop was set up for guests to take photos with the birthday boy. Many young and old guests took advantage of this and got great pictures with Kingston before the perspiration became overwhelming. Afterward, there was dancing, music, and food for everyone to enjoy the celebration. Finally, the crowd celebrated the birthday boy towards the end of the event when his cake was brought out and his birthday song was played.
